Please support our Student Council by participating in THIS WEEK'S Red Ribbon Week activities calendar from October 28-31. The Red Ribbon Campaign serves as a catalyst to mobilize communities, educate youth, and encourage participation in drug prevention activities. We invite you to join us in our efforts and ask that you please continue having family discussions that focus on making positive decisions, including choosing to be drug-free.

You are cordially invited! Our first Coffee with the Principal meeting will be held TOMORROW morning, Wednesday, 09/04/24. The meeting will take place from 8:00-9:00 AM in room P2. Senior Director Melgoza-Vasquez will be giving a special presentation on attendance in Spanish.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Thank you for another great week! Attached please find a photo of the lost and found items we have collected during the first 8 days of school. Please come to the office to claim your items. If the items are not claimed, they will be donated after school on Tuesday, 09/03/24.

REMINDER: Friday, 11/17/23, is a regular dismissal day. Our SHINE partners WILL NOT have after-school program on this day so that they may attend a training. However, Mrs. Reed-Sanchez has confirmed that she will still be meeting with her tap dancing group in room P-1 after school. Thank you for your help and cooperation. We wish you a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving Break. Remember that Williams School will be CLOSED November 20-24!

SHINE after-school programs are CANCELLED on Friday, 11/17/23 so that all City Corps, Boys & Girls Club, enrichment instructors , and site coordinators may meet for a training. Please make all of the necessary transportation arrangements to pick up your children right after dismissal.

WILLIAMS NOTE: In honor of Veteran's Day next week, our HESD partner schools will be participating in the For the Troops Donation Drive. Please check out the flyer for a description of the For the Troops organization's donation drive to provide our military partners with "We Care" packages containing basic necessities, goodies, games and best of all...a show of support. Please review the list of preferred items and if you decide to participate, please feel free to drop off any donated items with the office team.
